About our guest house
Our house was built around 1880 and has a lot of features related to that time. Since taking over the property and the B&B business, we have been renovating the house and up-grading the facilities.
The large rear garden backs on to and has pedestrian access to Westerleigh Common.
We pride ourselves on providing a warm and friendly accommodation with an emphasis on cleanliness, where you can be sure of a warm welcome and a comfortable stay. We achieve a very high level of repeat bookings.

South Gloucestershire Environmental & Health & Trading Standards have awarded us the highest rating of 5 for Food Hygiene. We also have a certificate in Food Hygiene awarded by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health.
For the benefit of our customers and the 2007 SmokeFree Law the building is classified as non-smoking. Smoking is however permitted in the rear garden.
Yate is ideally situated at the corner of two motorways (M4 & M5) and a short distance from the M32 with direct access into the centre of Bristol. Within a 5-minute walk of our Guest House there is Yate Railway Station with trains to Bristol and Gloucester. Bus services are also available to Bath and a number of other local towns.
The market town of Chipping Sodbury is within a 10-minute drive and easy access to the Cotswolds.
For shopping the towns of Bath and Bristol and an excellent out of town shopping Mall at Cribbs Causeway are all within easy reach.
Bristol has an excellent selection of museums and places of interest. This includes Brunel’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge and his steam ship the SS Great Britain.
Bath has always been on everybody’s lists of places to see and as well as the renowned Roman Baths it boasts a luxury Spa – the ultimate pampering experience.
In addition to these two cities, places like the National Arboretum at Westonbirt and a large number of National Trust buildings and gardens are just a short drive away.
Yate has a number of sporting facilities including an indoor leisure facility. Badminton, home of the famous horse trials is within a 7-mile drive.
The area also has a number of prestigious golf courses The closest being The Kendleshire Golf Cub, The Players Golf Club, Woodlands Golf & Country Club and Chipping Sodbury Golf Club.
